About

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota is a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again to take away our sins, in order to enable us to have a relationship with Him so that when we die we will go to heaven to be with God forever. We believe that the Bible is the true and inspired Word of God.

Immanuel Lutheran is a congregation of believers who gather for worship, Bible study and service to our God. We invite you to join us! Come and worship withus Sunday mornings at 9 AM or Saturday evenings at 7 PM. Join us to study God’s Word Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM or Tuesdays at 8:30 AM. History

Immanuel was organized in 1905 by a small group of German speaking
settlers living in and near Parkers Prairie.

After worshiping in rented facilities for a few years, they built their own church in 1914 (which still stands as part of our current facility).

In 1921 the congregation became large enough to call its own full time pastor.

As Immanuel continued to grow it added on to its facility in 1941 and then in 1965 added an education wing.

Continued growth led to the completion of a new fellowship hall, kitchen, gathering space, library, offices and new classrooms in 2003.

Immanuel has 700 baptized members and 550 communicant members.
